Course objectives:
|
To acquaint students with the communication process of interregional cooperation, communicative functions and semantic translation, as well as the pragmatic function of the translator and his most important competencies for the translation from Czech into German and vice versa. During the work with specific texts focusing on the Czech-Bavarian cooperation develops students' ability to choose the appropriate translation techniques and proper language resources in compliance with lexicological, morphological, syntactic and stylistic qualities. Besides the atomistic processes is reflected in the translation process, as well as a macro in terms of confrontational stylistic and socio-cultural terms, focusing on the Czech Republic and Bavaria. The course focuses on more practical skills (analysis dictionaries, glossaries own processing, implementation of content and language searches, creating abstracts, excerpts and summaries in Czech and German).
