Course objectives:

The subject is concentrated to deepening and extending of knowledge of financial mathematics and using of mathematics models at finance.

Requirements on student
|
Knowledge of lectures and the ability to apply them to practical problems.
Semestral work (more precise instructions will be given on the first lecture).
Exam Evaluation
Presentation and defence of semestral work.
Oral exam.
Upon repeated registration of the course, the credit obtained in the previous study of this course is not recognised (see art. 24, par. 3 in Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia).

3. Capital markets. General information.
4. Capital markets in the Czech republic.
5. The basic principles of the technical analysis.
6. The basic principles of the derivatives. Common derivative contract types.
7. Forward and futures.
8. Options.
9. Mathematical principles of derivatives.
10. Other types of derivatives - swaps etc.
11. Using the derivatives for construction of optimal portfolio, headging, speculation and arbitrage

vysvětlit principy statistické inference - zejména principy bodových a intervalových odhadů a principy testování statistických hypotéz (v rozsahu předmětu KMA/PSA) |
