Vývoj vyučování CJ, metody vyučování CJ a jejich srovnání. Lingvistické, psychologické a pedagogické základy vyučování CJ.

Ativní účast na seminářích, připravené diskusní příspěvky na daná témata (2) na základě doporučené odborné literatury a odborných časopisů.

1. Structure of educational process in lessons of German
1.0. Planning in German language teaching (European Language Portfolio, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, especially in relation to teaching language skills. Working with ELP at lower-secondary schools in classes of German language, self-assessment according to ELP, terminology of ELP and CEFR in German)
1.1. Types, structure and organizational forms of lessons in German language teaching
1.2. Checking, assessment and examination in German language teaching
1.3. Analysing and correcting mistakes in German language teaching
2. New forms of teaching in German language teaching
2.1. Project based learning
2.2. Extracurricular German language teaching (i.e. regarding international contacts)
2.3. Didactic games in German language teaching
3. Role of media in German language teaching
3.1. Visual, auditory and audiovisual aids

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Student is able to differentiate content and objectives of the subject and to gain knowledge about teaching foreign languages and German laguage and about the complexity of factors in the teaching process. He is able to compare principles and priorities of teaching foreign languages and German language in different historical periods, knows the status of the "DaF Institution" (the development of German language as foeign language) in the world. He is able to use the basic terminology of didactic discourse in Czech as well as in German language. |

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will
- become familiar with the content of German methodology and they will understand it
- acquire an overview of key issues in foreign language teaching and German language teaching and of other components of those fields of study
- be prepared for their own observation and teaching practices at lower- and upper-secondary schools
- be able to apply the theoretical knowledge gained during methodology seminars and lectures to their own teaching practice
- compare education systems in our country and in German speaking countries
- learn how to overcomSe barriers which are due to differences in education systems in Europe and prejudice against other cultural backgrounds
