Course objectives:

The aim of the subject is to familiarize the students with the antique traditions as a centre of European culture. The subject is in contact with the comparative literature and with the actual literature for children and teenagers.

Requirements on student

Individual reading of selected texts and text samples. Active participation in seminar discussions. Completing tasks associated with text search, text analysis and text interpretation during the semester. Writing and presenting a seminar paper.
