Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to extend the student's competence at designing of visual systems and to examine the examples and possibilities of teamwork at a large graphic project.

Requirements on student
|
Exam requirements:
- 80% active participation in seminars.
- Fulfilment of all seminar tasks as instructed by the teacher.
- Consultation and ongoing creation of semester project.
- Presentation on CD.
Literature will be specified by the teacher, with emphasis on architectural and urban planning publications.

|
Weeks 1 - 13 Establishing principles for mutual communication. Assignment of topics for semester project. - Ongoing studies and practical verification of the specifics of visual systems formation. - Mutual consultation of proposed solutions. - Continuous study of possibilities and methods of teamwork on the project. - Practical teamwork exercises. - Continuous production and consultation about semester project. - Continuous production of seminar papers and consultations.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will be able to develop designs, to choose the most appropriate option and then create a visual style (of a company, cultural institutions, nonprofit organizations, offices, schools, etc.), orientation systems for permanent or short-term use (buildings, historical places, towns, cities, sporting or cultural events ). Students will be able to use their acquired skills in a designer team. |
