The aim of the subject "The Colloquium of a practical training and a portfolio creation 1 " is a deeper understanding of the issues of reflection of topics associated with comprehensive support for persons with disabilities of various types and ages ensured by services provided by ministries of education, social affairs and health care. The subject interferes students' teoretical and practical knowledge. It ensures a safe space for a critical and structured reflection of the quality of services ensured by individual sectors, a reflection of everyday dilemmas experienced by helping professions, as well as a source for students' self evaluation of their practical training at individual workplaces. This also corresponds to students' assignments, written on the topics that regard their ongoing and continuous practical trainings. Another students' task is to continuously work on the creation of their study and professional portfolio. Regular colloquiums provide space for supporting students' socialization in relation to their role as college students and in relation to their alma mater School of Education. Regularly organised colloquiums enhance students' interest in the program studied, and they encourage them to grow into a professional community.
