Course objectives:
An internship at a selected workplace focused on working with an individual or a group under the supervision of a professional worker. The aim of the internship is to acquaint the student with the course of the selected organization and its workplaces, to provide the student with experience in the ways of working and the social relations that exist and are applied in the workplace. Continuous practice allows the student to verify and confront the theoretical background of the study program, to acquire basic professional knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Requirements on student
Active (100%) attendance at a selected workplace, continuous processing of the portfolio (record sheet of practice, evaluation by the practice coordinator, other remarks and reflections related to the practice). Active participation in continuous colloquia - joint meetings of a smaller group of students, whose essence is the evaluation of professional practice, the ability of students to reflect their work in the selected workplace.
Content
Continuous professional experience in a selected organization (institution) relevant to the Social Pedagogy study program focuses on working directly with an individual or a group under the supervision of a professional (coordinator of practice). The course contains a three-week continuous practice at a selected workplace. Continuous professional practice is defined in the last 3 weeks in the semester, daily from about 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the discretion and needs of the workplace and student agreement with the workplace. On a specific course of practice the student discusses the practice coordinator. The course of the student's practice is recorded on the record sheet for the practice, which he gives for checking and signing to the co-ordinator of the practice and presents for continuous reflection within the colloquium.
