Course objectives:
|
Student will gain a comprehensive interdisciplinary perspective on aptitude, naturally ability and their education and achieve basic knowledge and skills needed to work with gifted child / student.
|
Requirements on student
|
Individual project: presentation of a case study of a gifted student and design an individual education plan.
Team project: proposal organizational and didactic forms of work with gifted pupil and create a portfolio of learning activities for gifted pupil by study program (interesting additional activities, brain teasers, puzzles, crosswords, etc.)
Combined exam.

Content
|
1. Models and concepts of giftedness (Tannenbaum, Renzulli, Monks, Gagne ...).
2. Characteristics of gifted students (gifted types, characteristic manifestations of gifted
children and pupils in school).
3. Self-concept of gifted students, socio-emotional problems of gifted.
4. requirements on the personality of the teacher working with gifted pupil (power and
character, pedagogical and psychological skills).
5. Specifics of communication with the psychologist, special education teacher and parents of
gifted children and students.
6. Identification of gifted students in kindergarten, elementary and secondary schools
(forms, procedures, methods).
7. Approaches to Gifted Education (acceleration, enrichment, socialization).
8. Creating an individual education plan for gifted child.
9. Evaluation of gifted children and pupils (form and function, gaps in the evaluation of
gifted students, perception fairness).
10. Inclusions of gifted students in the traditional class group (forms and methods of
supporting the interaction of gifted children and pupils with other pupils).
11. Identification of specific forms of talent (motor, music art, interpersonal ...) and the
possibility of development in kindergartens, primary and secondary common type.
12. Problem situations when working with gifted children and pupils in the school.
13. Case reports of gifted children and pupils.

- charakterizovat jednotlivé přístupy ke vzdělávání nadaných žáků, |
- posoudit možnosti inkluze nadaných žáků ve školní třídě běžného typu a vhodnost různých forem hodnocení nadaných žáků. |

- charakterizovat specifika osobnosti nadaných žáků, rozliší jednotlivé projevy nadání s ohledem na věk, vrozených předpokladů a stupně rozvoje schopností a dovedností, |

- vysvětlit problematiku vzdělávání nadáních nejen odborné ale i laické veřejnosti v praxi, |
- využívat metod inkluze pro efektivní vzdělávání nadaných. |
