Course objectives:
|
Students are led to deeper insight into all aspects of professional speech communication by further developing the knowledge in the individual linguistic levels (in morphology, syntax, semantics, stylistics, etc.), especially in their mutual contexts. Particular attention is paid to the communicative skills shaping the graduate profile (plan of discussion, formulation of conclusions, stylization of instructions etc.). The analytical basis of the seminar is aimed at developing skills in the productive plane.
The subject is conducted in French.

Content
|
1 week
Learning outcomes and requirements for credit. General information on text analysis. Language resources characteristic of expert text.
2nd week
Working with examples of individual types of texts - information, descriptive, explicative, argumentative, etc.
3rd week
Analysis of economical-legal text, expression of main ideas of the text, work with vocabulary.
4th week
Short presentation of the business, working with definitions and vocabulary, searching for essential names made up of verbs.
5th week
Analysis of the legal text - its characteristics, vocabulary, the distinction between the terms "law, law, judiciaire, licite, illégal, illicite".
6th week
Analysis of the legal text - mediation as an alternative solution to the dispute through mutual communication through a qualified person - mediator. Characteristics of the text, expression of main ideas, work with vocabulary.
Week 7
Analysis of the text on referendums. Expression of main ideas, work with vocabulary.
Week 8
Working with texts on the construction of the Millau bridge, main characteristics of texts, summary of text content, work with definitions and vocabulary.
Week 9
Repetition of French courses in commercial practice 1 - Analysis of texts focusing on job search and working conditions in France. Characteristics of texts, expression of main ideas and work with vocabulary.
10th week
Repetition of courses in French in commercial practice 1 - analysis of texts focusing on unemployment and salaries in France. Characteristics of texts, expression of main ideas, work with vocabulary, determination of secondary sentences.
11th week
Repetition of courses in French in commercial practice 2 - rights and obligations of workers, employment contract, dismissal of employees, establishment of companies. Characteristics of texts, expression of main ideas, work with vocabulary.
Week 12
Text analysis with a focus on ecology - its basic characteristics, main ideas, vocabulary work
Week 13
Final test of the curriculum.
