Course objectives:
|
This course is intended for postgraduates/Masters students.This course provides an introduction to social network analysis (SNA) and demonstrates through theory and practical application how it can be applied in the field of social anthropology. Participants of the course will be acquainted with the origin of the SNA, its theoretical background and the basic terminology. Upon completion of the course the students will be able to collect and analyze network data, apply and interpret basics measures and get familiar with the use of the SNA software Ucinet.
