Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to verify the student's ability to develop independent creative and research activities that correspond to his or her field of study and future professional orientation. Emphasis is placed on critical selection of methods, construction of an appropriate theoretical background, a thorough analysis of theoretical framework and empirical data, and the student's own contribution to the topic.

Conditions for granting credit:
Students are required to:
1. actively participate in consultation sessions and seminar sessions dealing with their bachelor thesis
2. demonstrate knowledge necessary for the bachelor thesis
3. apply their ability to adequately work with data, sources and literature necessary for their bachelor thesis
4. submit the bachelor thesis to their supervisor in the required quality and in due time

Content
|
Within this course, the student first specifies the content of the thesis during consultation sessions and seminars. Then he or she chooses adequate methods and relevant procedure for the research underlying the bachelor thesis. The student consults partial outcomes with his or her supervisor and presents parts of his or er bachelor thesis. The schedule of the course and specific requirements will be provided by the Department based on information by the student's supervisor at the beginning of the semester.
