Course objectives:
|
Students will be introduced to given art artistic texts written in German language from 19th and the beginning of 20th century that allows students to understand how modern European culture was formed. Students will be led to recognize artistic and stylistic specifics of texts in various styles and kinds in certain historical eras. The course is taught mainly in German.

Requirements on student

Seminar work - by prior arrangement with the course teacher, students analyze and interpret partial aspect of literary work.

Students will be able to recognize poetological specifics of literary and artistic movements and schools in literature written in German language from 19th and the beginning of 20th century. In wider connection students will understand basic features of changes in European culture.
