Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to introduce basic terms of management and concentrate efford on quality and staff, used in medical praxis. Another aim is to engage students into team work, management of conflicts and communication.

Requirements on student
|
Condition for a credit is:
- active presentation on lectures and exercises.
- elaboration of seminar paper presentation.
Condition for an examination is:
- passing a examination test (min. 65 %) containing trash out topics.

Management - basic concepts, development of management theory. Planning. Organizing + leadership.
Control. Information in managerial work. Decision making.
Financial management - budgeting, calculation. Quality maangement, change management. Crisis management.
Main competences and roles of manager.
Leadership, leadership styles, delegation.
Manager and influencing of performance.
Creating and managing of working teams.
Conflicts in the organization and teamwork.
Communication in the organization and teamwork.
Human activities of manager - team leader.
