Course objectives:

The goals are to equip students with basic competencies for the creation and processing of audio and audiovisual documentary recording for art and gallery practice. Students classify systems of video equipment and software for video editing, understand the basic rules of making documentary video recording and analyze the possibilities of practical creating of documentary audio and video recording.

Requirements on student
|
Credit will be granted for: - the successful fulfillment of semester work - a creating DVD medium with video on topic agreed with the teacher, - successful resolution of didactic test, which will examine the basic knowledge about video design.

1.The importance and possibilities of creating video clip and video program for art, art exhibitions and teaching practice by means of using digital camcorder and computer. 2.Types of video technology and computer software for recording and processing video. 3.Additional technical equipment for the acquisition and processing of image and sound. 4.Means of expression within video and film. 5.(Video) shot and its basic characteristics. 6.Pictorial composition and design of scene lighting. 7.Composition of film editing and its dramatic structure. 8.Structuring of technical editing. 9.Pre-shooting unities and technical issues of shooting. 10.Scenarios, the importance of a species. 11.Rules of spatial viewer orientation. Editing of motion events. 12.Audio component and its means of expression.. 13.Computer programs for video processing, types and options. 14.Practical procedures of creating video clip and video program for art, art exhibitions and teaching practice. 15.Issues of personality protection during shooting.
