Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to teach the students the basic procedures of camcorder imaging for animated, puppet and feature film.
|
Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements: - 70 per cent attendance of seminars - Completing and successful handing in submissed partial seminar tasks of required degree, - Completing and handing in semestral task (project) - Keeping the deadlines for handing in both the submissed partial tasks and the semestral project.

User knowledge of working on the PC (Windows). Student´s creative approach to the assigned works.

to provide basic knowledge of technical and technological specifics of work with video and its recording,
to compare and analyze different artistic expressions by criteria of esthetics, semiotics and technique on basic level,
to specify basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines,

to work with PC and Windows system on user level,
to use videocamera and work with its outcomes on basic level,
to work independently and activelly and flexibly react to evaluating commentary of the teacher,
to show own creativity on generally assigned task, to show the will to find different artistic solutions, alter them and constructivelly evaluate,

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
of technological procedures in the field of video shooting for cartoon, puppet and featured movie,
of basic methodology and procedures of cameraman,
about historical and contemporary style canons used in different genres of art and movie creation,
of knowledge of basic animators and programators terminology, to understand the relationship between both disciplines,
about project planning both individually and in a team (sketches, scenarios, storyboards, animating and postproduction works) |
Skills - skills resulting from the course: |
to use professional vocabulary and communication with workers of postproduction,
to use specific functions of videocamera in animated movie in creative and technical means,
to recognize and use specific limits and options of animated movie in creative way,
to solve technics and technologies of animated movie,
to acquire knowledge and skills in camera shooting procedures for cartoon, puppet and acted film,
to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response, is able of own basic reflection of own work, |
