Course objectives:
|
The subject acquaints students with principles and procedures of animated film making. Working in teams, students will experience the complete process of animated film production, from screenplay, puppet and environment production, lighting settings, animation and capturing, to editing, sound and effects. The result of this work will be a short animated film.

Requirements on student
|
Exam requirements: - Complex working out the tasks from sketches to a presentation and a defence, the student is aware of an ovarlap of his/her work with related subjects, - Translatability of the author´s message to other artistic languages such as techniques or forms, - 80 per cent active attendance in seminars, - Continuous completing and handing in seminar tasks according to the teacher´s requirements, - Continuous work on the semestral task, - Creative, concerned approach and openmindness, - Ability to cooperate in a team, - Completing the semestral task, - Presentation.

about project planning (sketches, scenarios, storyboards, animation works)
content analysis of the subject and its structuring into the scenario
on technological procedures in the field of animation exercises and cartoon animation or computer animation disciplines)
about historical and contemporary style canons
more advanced visual tools suitable for animated creation |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
plans an animation exercise project
with understanding, discusses the subject and suggests the construction of a story (scenario, storyboard)
creates animation for Internet or TV (jingle, spot, blackout, punctuation, punctuation), or animation using typography (business cards, logos, TV or movie jokes, animated subtitles)
uses cartoon, desktop or PC animation technology
reflects his work in historical and contemporary contexts,
reflects its work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes,
with erudition, presents his work to the professional community
he is able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response |
