Course objectives:
|
This course is intended only for lifelong learning participants. Participants will get to know the basic issues of the field, with simple work with fonts and other graphic elements. Introduction to the subject of the field. Basic and general principles of graphic design and visual communication. Graphic design in relation to the creation of printed matter, designing a graphic brand and building a visual identity. The relationship between creative, informational and technological effects on the tone of the implemented task. Areal and spatial relations. Typography, visual motif, material, technology. Awareness of historical context. The difficulty of the tasks gradually increases and the tasks are reasonably oriented more individually.
The primary goal of the course is not the teaching of graphics programs. The prerequisite for successful completion of the course is the ability to work with graphic editors, preferably Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign The course will be taught in the form of practical studio teaching supplemented with theoretical explanation. Part of the teaching is the completion of assigned homework.

Realization of assigned semester practical exercises in appropriate quality. Ongoing joint consultations in the collective. Participation in classes in the minimum range of 75% (in case of serious circumstances can be modified by the guarantor of the subject).
