Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to fortify the students' knowledge and skills in illustration acquired during the BA studies and to provide them with the competence for teamwork and also for the individual creation of graphic designer, illustrator for children, draughtsman, painter or classical illustrator (according to the individual choice).

Requirements on student
|
- 80% seminar attendance - continuous TP elaboration and consultation - presentation on CD - completion of all tasks based on teacher's requirements

Content
|
- during the postgraduate study of the key atelier subjects (from UUD/IL8 to UUD/IL11), for their term project (TP) and seminar work the students choose an illustration task with the focus on:
- graphic techniques - comics; illustration for children - drawing and painting in illustration - illustration for the poetry and prose; creating bibliophiles
The choice of specialization during this term is wholly up to the student. - setting rules for mutual communication; deciding on TP topics - continuous TP elaboration and consultation - continuous elaboration and consultation of seminar tasks - continuous submission of individual tasks

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Based on the individual choice in a specific MgA study term, the student will be equipped with the ability to work individually on the following projects:
- graphic (specialization graphic techniques), or - illustrator for children, picture story-telling, (specialization comics or illustration for children), or - drawing, painting (specialization drawing or painting in illustration), or - classic illustration (specialization illustration for poetry, prose, bibliophile work).
