Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to prove the student's talent as well as the ability to fulfil in given period of time the required creative task according to the assignment and to defend subsequently this own project.

Requirements on student
|
Requirements for students to be allowed to take final term exam - KPZ3 - (see the decree of the Dean: Order for KPZ and the decree of the Dean for KPZ in respective semesters):
1. Successful development and submission of final work by the deadline set by the decree of the Dean.
2. Portfolio of student's own work in main course and in supporting courses of the semester just ended.
3. CD (2 pieces - stored complete final work, a portfolio from main course and supporting courses in the last semester) is submitted by student during SO presentation. Work on the CD must be saved in uncompressed (because of the quality of subsequent prints from CD) formats: images - JPG, TIF, PDF, Videos - AVI.

Content
|
Students, in specified period of time, shall develop (according to their study orientation) a semester project according to the assignment (design, implementation, installation of the final work in an appropriate space). The resulting project, including the portfolio from supporting courses, has to be stored on electronic media and submitted in specified time together with the work of art. By the deadline set in the relevant decree of the Dean, students present their work and defend it during the final term exam before jury.
The form of final term exam, the conditions under which students are allowed to take it, methods of evaluation, organization and other necessary formalities are specified in the decree of Dean the - Order of KPZ.
Themes of KP are assigned by respective studio teachers in the second week of semester.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
to equip technical and technological processes of production applied and applicable in the given field,
to recapitulate present and preferred hostorical style schemes of visual culture of the given field,
to realize their own preferences and concepts of the given topic,
propose variants of the solution to the given problem,
select and justify what it considers to be supportive and potentially suitable for the final realization |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
in their creation, to keep the technical and technological procedures of the branch, or to experimentally design and verify their extension,
appropriately combine the demands of historical and contemporary style criteria with their own creative intentions and in the final form of the work to find the optimum ratio between aesthetic and artistic value,
to conceptualize the subject and how to respond (paraphrase, irony, hommage, copy, innovation, etc.) to reflect,
choose from the sketch material and at the given time and under the given circumstances to realize the final work |
