Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the field of graphic design and its use in relation to the media and printed flexible packaging design. Students are equipped with the theoretical and practical level of knowledge of basic graphic tools and typesetting editors. To teach students to solve conceptual and technical tasks related to book culture, graphic design and printing.

Requirements on student

Credit requirements:
- regular active participation - at least 80 per cent.
- to fulfil all given semestral tasks in required quality and in the term set by the teacher,
- semestral project defence.

1. Introduction to field
2. Planar and spatial compositional exercises.
3. Space prints.
4. The dialog area and volume.
5. Visual stylization.
6. Flatness, statics, dynamics and expression in a colorful array of supporting themes.
7. Layout and graphic design publications.
8. Work with the tariff pattern.
9. Scripture and typographic rules.
8. Working with text and photos. Technical requirements and possibilities of art.
9. Photo editing, management of complications with colors.
