Course objectives:
|
In this semester students solve graphic design package vignette form. Students are acquainted with the rich variety of artistic and technological possibilities of solutions in terms of printing vignettes, washers used for printing vignettes - vignettes on paper, on glass, to plastic, as the book vignette, vignette as a functional part of the product.

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements:
- Regular active participation - at least 80 per cent.
- To fulfil all given semestral tasks in required quality and in the term set by the teacher.
- Production and defense of a semestral project.

Content
|
1. Surface stylization.
2. Graphically effective composition - the power and effectiveness of expression, restrictions on the color scale.
3. Fine principles and rules of typography.
4. Typographic tools in graphic programs and their control.
5. A classic vignette on the bottle.
6. Vignette - a label on the book.
7. Vignette with instructions for use, or expand product.
8. Vignette as a folder.
9. Vignette as a functional part of the product.
10. - 12. Solving problems in a special studio in interaction with his supervisor.
13. Defense and project evaluation.

compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (own and foreign),
apply knowledge about materials and their shaping,
of basic use of the graphic design field in relation to media and package design, |

to both conceptually and technically solve given task of a field of package design,,
formulate and write an explanation and legend of the product,
consider the ratio of functionality and aesthetic quality of the product and project it into design and prototype design,
to use basic tools of graphic and setting editors, |
