Course objectives:
|
The course "Preincubation Studio 1" is a part of a composed cycle of subjects teaching Pre-incubation Studio 1 - 4, simulating a concrete model of a master's degree student's practice in a given field.
The aim of the course is to teach the student how to communicate with a particular client during a simultaneous active participation of the client in proofreading and presentation of a project in progress. Under the guidance of the head of a special studio, guest lecturer from another university or visiting expert from practice, equip the student with competencies for cooperation with a specific customer (company, publishing house, advertising agency, state institution, etc.) concept, create in interaction with other team participants, etc.

Requirements on student

Credit requirements:
- Participation in seminars, - Completion and submission of all specified studio sub-tasks (seminar works) in the extent and deadlines set by the teacher.
Requirements for passing the exam:
- Previously obtained credit, - An active continuous work on semester project, - Compulsory corrections of semester project, - Submitting a semester project - Presentation.

Content
|
1. Familiarization of students with Preincubation project, client presentation, formulation the assigned project, definition the goals, familiarization with results of research of the market etc. 2. An excursion in the client's company, familiarization with technological and material limiting the order. 3. Research and specification the project. 4. The first sketches of ideas and highlighting possibilities solution. 5. Developing chosen options. 6. Selection the one of the options for realization. 7. Finishing the chosen option. 8. Finishing visualization and creation models and maquettes. 9. - 12. Finalization. 13. Public presentation and defence in the presence of project leader and a client.
