Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to teach the students the illustration for children and the narrative illustration for the different age groups, with regard to the individual choice of expected student's professional orientation, and to provide them, through an individual approach, with competence for children's and narrative illustrative creation.

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements: - Participation in seminars, - Completion and submission of all assigned studio sub-tasks (seminar works) in the extent and deadlines set by the teacher.
Requirements for passing the exam:
- Previously obtained credit, - Demonstrating inventiveness and craft abilities, - Obligatory corrections, - Submitting and defending semester project - Presentation.

Content
|
Students of master's program can enroll in this course as in so-called second studio. Weeks 1 - 13: Introduction to the course of the semester, assignment of semester project. Students in this course MGNI1: - Either specialize according to their individual artistic interests and focus on a particular area of illustrations; in this sphere, they implement and enhance their production as well as in the follow-up levels of the course, - Or, in this subject and during subsequent follow-up levels, they gradually go through a wide range of areas of creating children illustration and narrative illustration. Areas of work: sheets, puzzles, coloring books, rhymes, picture stories, illustrations, stories and short stories, novels, illustration for children and teenagers, comic books, animated film and related genres, storyboards and easy animated études, virtual version of a comic book or books - interaction with reader.

can capture the human figure from different perspectives and in a diverse range of movements,
in collaboration with the scriptwriter and the director of the comic studio to create a simple comic book
