Course objectives:
|
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of this subject is to develop the ability of students to transform three-dimensional space - composed scenes into two-dimensional form through the use of various historical forms of perspective. The goal is not only to perfect the illusion of space, but also to sensitize mediation of the atmosphere with regard to application in scenic or scenographic design and genre.

to recognize the basic drawing elements and their funcionality in the process of creating a space,
to compare and analyze different drawing expressions by criteria of esthetics, semiotics and technique on basic level
to recall the way of work with drawing technique of several renowed authors and their innovative value,
to recognize basic ways and methods of imaging space into surface, |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
to work with basic drawing mediums and techniques
to work independently and flexibly react to evaluating commentary of the teacher
to show own creativity on generally assigned task, to show the will to find different artistic solutions, alter them and constructivelly evaluate
to make the effort to do artistic experiment and to find original and suitable solution to assigned matter,
to use and comply different methods of spacial imaging, |

of usage of descriptive drawing and its alterations for different artistic disciplines,

to individually choose suitable drawing means of expression accordingly to specific artistic task and character of an imaged object,
