Course objectives:
The course is intended for students of the doctoral study program.
The purpose of the course is to ensure the possibility of regular meetings between the supervisor and the student of the doctoral study program. The general goal is to support the student in the planning, implementation, exposure and evaluation of their own doctoral project. Through the course, the supervisor has the opportunity to moderate and influence any changes in the study plan, or to influence and plan with the student the material discussed and discussed by the student in other compulsory or optional doctoral subjects. Through the course, the supervisor acts as a facilitator of discussions with the student about important control points of study (colloquia, exhibitions, internships, pedagogical practice, doctoral examination).
Specific goals are always determined depending on the specific doctoral projects of students. The doctoral student completes the course in each semester of his / her study, unless the subject council decides otherwise.
Requirements on student
Student requirements are set on an ad hoc basis according to the individual needs, goals and interests of the student with respect to their doctoral project.
Content
The content of the course is initially focused mainly on finding the heuristics of doctoral project solutions, considering design, support and inspiration sources, relevant theoretical frameworks. In the next phase, there are corrections of the student's proposed variations of the study plan, emphasis on the content within the studied subjects and the design of the doctoral project. An essential part is also the planning of adjustment, exposition and presentation of one's own work and its development in the conditions of a foreign internship and professional practice.
