Course objectives:
|
The course is intended for students of the doctoral study program.
The current face of visual art is very rich and thus far less clear than its historical trends and styles. There is also terminological ambiguity in its description, resulting from the blurring of boundaries and relationships between modern and postmodern. The course will deal with different forms of art that are hidden behind concepts such as feminist art, queer art, global art, post-colonial art, digital art, internet art, artificial intelligence, interactive art and others. The role of curators, museums and the art market will also be discussed..
