Course objectives:

Students will improve their theoretical knowledge in field of welding, machining, forming, heat treatment and surface treatment mainly in nuclear engineering.

Content
|
The subject outlines the basic specifics of "nuclear" manufacture and used technologies, differences from non-nuclear manufacturing processes with respect to specific physical properties of currently used nuclear materials for the manufacture of equipment for peaceful generation of nuclear energy. The subject is connected to subjects Machining Technology, Technology of Founding, Forming and Welding, Material Science and Nuclear Equipment Materials. A shop tour around ŠKODA JS´ facilities is an integral part of schooling.
