Course objectives:
|
Know the basic principles of operation of atmospheric and supercharged internal combustion engine. Understand the idealized thermal cycles diesel, gasoline and alternative engines. Identify the basic aspects of supercharging and their solutions. Understand the theory of continuous and pulsed supercharged engines. To become familiar with the construction of Roots, Lysholm, wing and spiral blower. Knowing the compressed air cooling and intake air control. Understand the operational characteristics of the engine with supercharging combustion chamber, internal fuel injection and the basic principles of combustion.

8. Turbocharger under steady flow and pulsating conditions
9. Cooperation of the engine with the turbocharger
10. Supercharging of the gasoline engines, supercharging of the gas engines
