Course objectives:
|
The aim of the subject is to deepen the tools knowledge of students specializing in industrial design and is focused on the following areas: computer-aided design; modelling and displaying product structure in CAD; tools for styling, working with freeform surfaces; techniques used for photorealistic outputs; layout creating. The assignments are intended to give the students an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in the lectures to the solution of practical problems.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will gain the assumptions for solving the tasks in styling and design with help of CAD (Computer Aided Design) systems and prepare graduates for entry-level positions in styling operations. The course offer a combination of mechanical and styling skills for application in a variety of industries.

navrhnout 3D model tvarově složitého tělesa, provést měření a analýzy (rozměry, kolize, posouzení návaznosti a kvality ploch) a vyvodit obecné závěry |
popsat možnosti stavby digitálního 3D modelu s důrazem na úskalí jednotlivých postupů z hlediska editovatelnosti a návazných kroků (např. tvorby sestav, aplikace textur a generování fotorealistických výstupů) |

vytvářet digitální 3D modely tvarově komplikovaných těles pomocí plošného modelovaní použitelné v průmyslu pro návazné konstrukční práce |
