Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to provide students with hybrid drives and fuels in traffic engineering.
- Inform students of basic distribution of hybrid drives in traffic engineering
- Inform students of basic technical parameters of hybrid drives
- To introduce students to the basic principles of hybrid drives in traffic engineering incl. basic computing analysis

Content
|
The project introduces problems of hybrid drives and fuels in traffic engineering. The subject is focused on principles of the environment, fossil fuel sources and emission and their politico-economical aspect. Next part is focused on vehicle drives (modified engines, electric motor-cars with batteries, fuel cells and hybrid drives) including basic physical principles and production and using of alternatives fuels. In the subject are examples of prototypes and concepts of cars with alternatives and hybrid drives.
