Course objectives:
|
The course is intended for students who wish to focus on machine tools and their accessories in their master theses. It covers the following topics:
systematic classification of machine tools; samples of turning, milling, boring, drilling and grinding machines, machining centres, special purpose machines; machine tool accessories; design configurations, successful construction samples, samples of technical solutions, computing analysis.

Content
|
The course is intended for students who wish to focus on machine tools and their accessories in their master theses. It focuses on the following areas:
Systematic classification of machine tools, samples of turning, milling, boring, drilling and grinding machines. Machining centres. Special machine tools. Accessories of the machine tools. Design arrangement of machine tools. Fundamental design principles. Examples of machine tools design and calculation.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
describe i and explain possible design solutions of basic types of machine tools |
to use theoretical knowledge of mechanics, elasticity and strength, machine parts and design fundamentals when designing machines and equipment |
gaining additional expertise through a separate study of the theoretical knowledge of the engineering base |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
to use their own knowledge from the basic engineering theoretical disciplines in solving practical problems in the design of machine tools and equipment |
work independently in at least one CAD system |

popsat komplexně a vysvětlit na vyšší úrovni možná konstrukční řešení základních konstrukčních uzlů běžných typů obráběcích strojů |
sdělit srozumitelně a přesvědčivě odborníkům i laikům informace o odborných problémech spojených s konstrukcí obráběcích strojů |
zhodnotit samostatně klady a zápory konstrukčních řešení |
získávat samostatně další odborné znalosti studiem teoretických poznatků oboru konstrukce obráběcích strojů |

být schopen vytvořit základní konstrukční návrh vybraného uzlu obráběcího stroje |
navrhnout na základě získaných teoretických i praktických znalostí vybrané konstrukční uzly běžných typů obráběcích strojů s využitím moderních konstrukčních a výpočetních softwarů |
použít své teoretické znalosti z teorie strojů při řešení konkrétních praktických problémů v konstrukci obáběcího stroje |
rozpoznat samostatně a formulovat problémy týkající se konstrukce obráběcích strojů |
získávat samostatně další odborné dovednosti na základě praktických zkušenosti z oboru a jejich vyhodnocení |
