Course objectives:
|
The aim is to acquaint students with the basics of creating technical documentation and in the course of work on a design project to explain to students the principles of inventive thinking and to teach them to apply the methods and tactics used in construction.
|
Requirements on student
|
- Compliance with conditions of credit
- Submission of semester project in the required time.
|
Content
|
Content of course:
1. Introduction, aim of the course, conditions for granting credit. Presentation of design proposals of selected technical products associated with a discussion of the possibilities of achieving the required parameters of specified properties.
2. Assignment of semester work. Information about the specified machine part and its functional description. Working sketch of a given machine part - drawing documentation.
3. Literary and patent search of objects with functions that are roughly close to the given object. Determining the purpose of use and definition of the function in the semester work of the solved technical product and processing of the partial technical report.
4. Selection of the solved object and its functional description. Creation of a functional scheme and its purpose (demonstration on a real drawing from practice). Withdrawal of degrees of freedom by basic elements. Connection with the fixation of the component in the technical system and prevention of the movement of floating tolerance fields.
5. Definition of functional bases and their meaning. Functional bases - Color according to importance, justification of the use of the base and its importance, removal of degrees of freedom by the base. Geometric bases - In color according to importance, justification of the use of the base and its importance.
6. Definition and specification of functional conditions and methods of their provision, eg by prescribing tolerances for functional dimensions and shapes, position and surface quality of functional surfaces. Demonstration of the problem on the example of a simple pin and a desk drawer.
7. Dimensional functional conditions (clearance / overlap) - Color according to importance, justification of the use of the functional condition and its importance. Functional geometric conditions (shape / position) - Color according to importance, justification of the use of functional conditions and its importance. Functional conditions of surfaces (quality / texture / thermal and chemical-thermal treatment) - Color according to importance, justification of the use of functional conditions and its importance. Functional conditions of surface layers (chrome plating, galvanizing, gilding, silvering, nano and micro layers, dyeing, spraying, coatings, ...) - Color according to importance, justification of the use of functional conditions and its importance. Functional conditions related to the ergonomics of the structure - Color according to importance, justification for the use of functional conditions and its importance. Functional conditions related to industrial design - Color according to importance, justification for the use of functional conditions and its importance. (creation, operation, recycling, disposal ...)
8. Example of creating a functional scheme of a fork joint with a cylindrical pin and determining the meaning and significance of individual functional conditions. Description of structural and geometric reference elements, functional conditions and structural functional elements.
9. Structural functional elements. Functional dimensions, Functional surfaces
10. Example of creating a drawing of an articulated fork with a cylindrical pin in accordance with a functional diagram.
11. Consultation of construction project.
12. Submission of construction project, discussion and evaluation.
13. Credit award.
