Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course called "Legal Proceedings and Arbitration with International - Foreign Element" is to acquaint students with issues that are currently highly actual. Legal proceedings and arbitration with an international element are of a big interest at the present time, the dynamically developing business relations between legal entities and natural persons - business entities with cross-border overlap. In the course students will be acquainted with the procedure in court proceedings with foreign element and arbitration with foreign element. Seminars will focus on practical exercises - extrajudicial dispute resolutions, filing lawsuits, conduct in courts and arbitration courts, submitting evidence, enforcement of final decisions in third countries.

Within the course "Legal proceedings and arbitration with an international - foreign element" emphasis is placed on discussing current issues related to the procedural procedures of the parties and proposals in proceedings, conduct in court and arbitration, investigating the possibility of enforceability of decisions in third country.
