Course objectives:

Business Law is one of the key subjects of Private Law instruction within the master´s degree study programme "Law". The subject "Business Law - the General Part" is the first component of an integral course which is completed by an examination, and at the end of the master´s degree study it is completed by a state examination within state final examinations.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
A student understands general Business Law terms, he/she has acquired the basic general Business Law principles, he/she understands the significance of the scientific field of Business Law within the legal system of the state as well as within the relations to EU Law.
A student can describe the basic institutes of the general part of Business Law, he/she is able to assess the current role of business relationships in the legal order of the Czech Republic and in the national economy, he/she can identify and define the strengths and weaknesses of the present development of Business Law, he/she is able to apply the knowledge to model situations in the area of national economy, he/she is expected to act and find solutions in accordance with the principles of Business Law, he/she can evaluate, justify and consider the selected solutions in accordance with the legal order of the Czech Republic and the EU and he/she is able to draw general conclusions. |
