The objective of the course is to define, describe and solve legal issues concerning doing business in the area of investment services.

1. Introductory lecture, conditions for successful completion of an exam. Sources of law regulating investment services. 2. Historical overview. 3. Investment services - main investment services. 4. Investment services - ancillary investment services. 5. Invetment services providers - investment firm. 6. Investment services providers - investment intermediary, tied agent. 7. Rules of proper provision of investment services. Conduct of business rules. 8. Financial instruments - transferable securities, units in collective investment undertakings, money-market instruments, derivatives, contracts for financial differences. 9. Register of financial instruments. Public and non-public offer of financial instruments. 10. Contracts regarding provision of investment services. 11.
