Course objectives:
Goal is to create sufficient time for students to process their final thesis, allow them to address the issue with the help of specialized software, measurement and diagnostic equipment in their department, or according to needs, in practice, at arranged workplaces. It will also give students the opportunity to underpin their respective computing solutions, including technical and economic benefits of the proposed solutions.
Requirements on student
Requirement for credit is: 1. Active participation on the consultation for elaboration of diploma thesis. 2. Demonstration of knowledge needed to elaboration of diploma thesis. 3. To present the supervisor with diploma thesis in the required standard.
Content
In the form of individual consultations and seminars, students work independently under the leadership of thesis supervisors and consultants more demanding part of the work, according to the selected focus. For the chosen variant, they elaborate introductory design and construction designs, which they then elaborate in their thesis. The technical-economic questions of the task are taken into account. Computer technology is used to the maximum extent possible.
