Course objectives:

In most of industrially developed countries, the human resource area is considered a key factor that largely affects the success of companies. Decisions regarding recruitment, job selection, remuneration and staff training are reflected not only in the company's immediate performance, but also in its future. The aim of the course is to understand the approaches and knowledge of methods needed to work with people and develop human potential in manufacturing companies. The main goal of the course is to provide students with information to acquire a comprehensive framework of basic knowledge about the methods of industrial engineering that are used to manage human capital in production.

Requirements on student
|
The conditions for obtaining the credit are active participation in seminars, elaboration and successful defense of two current topics in the field of HRM, of which in one case it is a so-called news reflecting foreign so-called good practice, the other is a seminar work on a given topic.
The exam is oral. The exam mainly examines theoretical knowledge of the individual topics discussed. The ability of cultivated presentation and discussion is expected, the ability to explain various contexts and orientations in the current situation on the labor market is also expected. It is valued and taken into account, if students are able to analyze their own experience with human resource management. The specific topics of the exam copy the content of the course.
