Course objectives:
|
The course is based on an interpretation of the basic principles of sociology, organizational structures in public administration. Defines the relationships between the different levels of government, defines the various organizational models and their application in public administration and principles of operational management in public administration, introduces students to issues of regional and local communities and their role in governance structures.

|
1) Social and legal aspects of functioning of public administration in the Czech Republic and the EU. The principles of public administration bodies and organizational models used in public administration. 2) Effective administrative management. 3)The authority of state and local government. 4)Relations between the local and regional administration, subsidiarity, concentration and deconcentration in territorial politics. 5)Organizational principles and organizational models and their application in public administration 6)The main management approaches in public administration. Specifics of the public administration management, application management methods in public administration environment. 7) Strategic and operational management in public administration. 8) Integration and disintegration processes in public administration. 9) The influence of integration processes on public administration reform in the Czech Republic. 10) Community and Public Administration. Local and regional communities. 11) The quality of public administration. 12) Communication in public administration.
