Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to initiate the students into the issue of baroque art to begining of the 20th century. The student will gain a systematic overview about the birth and development of the style; the analyses of typical selected masterpieces from the most significant personalities of particular artistic disciplines. The student will be familiarize with the baroque art of European countries and with progress of various styles of 19th century in Europe and in Czech countries.

Requirements on student
|
Requirements for credit:
- Regular attendance of at least 75% at lectures and seminars
- Active participation in the discussion of individual topics
- Presentation of a seminar paper on a given, previously consulted topic in the form of a report by the deadline set by the lecturer
- Submission of a written elaboration of this seminar paper by the deadline set by the lecturer
- Passing the credit test with at least 65%
Requirements for passing the exam:
- Previous obtaining of credit
- Oral examination within the scope of the topics discussed and the required study literature
