Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to provide the students with knowledge of direct and mediated image, of the old and new media, of its use in performance and installation. To familiarize them with options of communication through the new media theory (telematics, links, communication level, the theory of information gathering, browsing, transferand representation, globalization, Cyberspace, meat space, Interface, Cultural Interface means human-computer-culture interface, etc.) - through the way how the computers put us into interaction with cultural information.

- Regular participation - 70% - Multimedia presentation of a selected visual artwork or an artist - Preparation and submission of the final theoretical study - at least 5 pages.
