Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to get knowledge of the unsettled and new terms for contemporary visual production with an emphasis on student`s individual work and individual research in the field of contemporary art. Student will learn to define their own attitudes and opinions based on their orientation in the contemporary visual art world. Student will learn about the newest international art projects.

Requirements for credit:
- Regular attendance - 70%,
Presentation on a selected topic
Requirements for passing the exam:
- Previous successful completion of credit,
- Preparation and submission of a final theoretical study of at least 3 pages.

to compare and analyze different artistic expressions by criteria of esthetics, semiotics and technique on advanced level,
to specify basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines and theory of new media,
to determine particular acters of process of art and their roles, the effects of direct and mediated image |

to systematicly work with sources of information,
to search informations and compare them based on their value, to complete and associate them with other facts about the image and deduce coclusions,
to make a systematic research on given topic,
