The subject is focused on an interpretation and explication of the general part of the material penal law, it means its basic principles and instituts, the force of the penal code, the conditions of the criminal liability and the legal consequences of crimes and trespasses of juveniles.

1. Concept of criminal law and basic principles of material criminal law.
2. Force and scope of criminal statutes.
3. Concept of the criminal act and its signs.
4. The facts of the criminal act: its concept, signs and kinds.
5. Object and objective side of the criminal act.
6. Subject (offender) of the criminal act.
7. Subjective side of the criminal act, error (mistake) in criminal law.
8. Conditions excluding the unlawfulness.
9. Development stages of the criminal act (preparation, attempt).
10. Forms of criminal cooperation.
11. Concurrence of criminal acts and other plural forms of criminal activity.
12. Extinction of criminal liability.
13. Penalties and protective measures.
14. Extinction of punishment and effacement of a sentence.
