Course objectives:
|
This course is intended only for students of long learning course. The aim of the course is to master the basics of traditional drawing and painting. The subject develops drawing and painting skills applicable and necessary for any field of visual arts, at the same time it develops a stock of shapes and the ability to perceive shape and spatial relationships. The course participant will get to know the basic principles of traditional drawing and painting, gain an overview of the materials used, work tools, and try basic drawing and painting techniques. During the semester, drawing alternates with painting after a week. The individual exercises thus build on each other in terms of content and make it possible to thematically understand both of these phenomena in a mutual confrontation (connotation).
