Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with different types of open-air creation - to teach them practical creation in the open air (i.e. sculpture, land art, individual or collective projects, etc.) and how to make a study of architecture and natural features by painting, drawing, photography, video. The obligatory part of the course is making of the documentation by photo or video in electronic form.

Credit requirements: - Completing all assigned tasks in required quality and terms according to the teacher´s instructions, - Full scale course attendance (the whole 5 days course), - Creating the work documentation using photography or video and handing it in in an electronic form.

Content
|
The training will take place in a certain location (e.g. in the surroundings of the accomodation centre Nečtiny). The course will take 5 days. Learning various kinds of plein-air art (drawing, sculpture, installation, landart, collective projects?). Studies of particular natural and architectural elements (painting, drawing, photography?). The teacher will announce a detailed plan of the training during the initial lesson, then the content may be modified, depending on the weather conditions.

to provide basic knowledge of technical and technological procedures applicable to land-art, site-specific, or outdoor work,
to equip the procedures with the basic procedures of artistic expression,
to bring together the basic knowledge of the studied art discipline and the plenary creation,
to apply his / her art knowledge to the project |

expressing hands free through other suitable media types for plenary creation,
to make a search for a given topic,
to make use of specific plenary dispositions in the given task,
present your suggestions to other team members, the sponsor (the teacher) |

about the artistic planning of the solution of the given project in the plenary,
about specific technological processes in the field of the given genre of creation,

about ways and principles of cooperation in solving participatory or socially intervening artistic assignments |

plans a project of the artwork in view of the specificity of the plenary conditions,
performs it in very specific conditions (scale of the given space, changing atmospheric environment, intervention character, etc.)

reflects its work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes,
with erudition he presents his work to the professional community and documents it for an exhibition intended for the wider public,
