Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to teach a student to depict (- within the scope of basic painting processes-) volume and modelling by light and shadow through monochromatic colour scheme; to be able to use and follow the skills and knowledge acquired in the lessons of figure drawing. The course is orientated towards the laymen.

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements: - 80 per cent active participation in seminars Continuos assigning, completing, and handing in all partial seminar works during the whole semester, in volume and quality set by teacher.

Previous successful passing the subject Figure drawing. Competent dealing with the basics of drawing (proportion, space).

Learning outcomes
|
Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will be able to choose the painting style (hue painting etc.), suitable for expressing the atmosphere, plasticity, character, etc., They will be able to modify the painting vocabulary, colour scheme, according to a certain atmosphere or emotions. They will be able to use their painting skills in other artistic branches, they will be able to express plasticity by shading, expression, human emotions, etc., will be able to adapt the colour scale to this expression (They will recognize which colours naturally support positive or negative emotions).
