Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to teach a student, through dialogue, an optimal procedure how to handle and realize a creative task according to the assignment of bachelor thesis. Furthermore, the aim is to familiarize the students with writing of professional text in accordance with the given rules; to instruct them in formal necessities of theoretical part of the thesis.

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements:
- Regular active participation in seminars,
- Systematic study of literature and other sources in accordance with the specifications of the thesis,
- Following the established work schedule and guidelines (continuous fulfilment of tasks during the semester as advised by the supervisor)
- In-time submission of the final version of the theoretical and practical parts of the thesis imperatively followed by consultation, including the latest version of the thesis on electronic media,

Systematic writing of the theoretical part.

Writing of artistic and theoretical parts of the thesis in the specified time and scope according to specifications.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
to equip the complex knowledge gained during the passing of the subjects of the profiling basis of the study program and its specialization,
to make a selection of relevant knowledge and to use them as a conceptual support with regard to the topic of the qualification work they have chosen and formulated together with the supervisor,
consider variants of the solution of the qualification work in all steps from the preparation, after finalization, exposure and presentation of the project in the defense of the qualification work and at the exhibition intended for professional and wider public |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
creatively and with a deep understanding of the studied field to propose a solution of the project of qualification work,
to propose the planning and implementation of the project of qualification of work using own resources or involvement of other participating entities, or to propose ways of project management under given material, technical and time conditions and circumstances,
to propose a conception of the accompanying report to the work itself and its individual parts (research, technical reports, creative style reflection, etc.)
openly and systematically communicate with the supervisor of the qualification work, or with other consultants and participants, in order to effectively and successfully carry out the project of the qualification work |

to reflect the main conceptual basis of its own creation, its conceptual context and interpretative frameworks in the field of art theory, history and criticism,
to evaluate the added value of the processed topic of the qualification work for your own creation,
to take a critical attitude towards his / her creation and the project of qualifying work in all its steps from preparation, after finalization, to the proposed exposure and presentation of the project |

creatively and with a deep understanding of the studied field to solve the project at the level of the qualification work,
plan and implement it using own resources or involving other participating entities, or successfully manage the project under the given material, technical and time conditions and circumstances,
to draw up an accompanying report on their own work and its individual parts (search, technical report, creative style reflection, etc.)
reflect and critically consider the views of people from the professional community expressing themselves about student creation and its setting and functioning in the context of culture |
