Course objectives:

The goal of the course is to present jewelry as a specific artistic medium with a wealth of means of expression, to teach participants several basic jewelry craft-technological procedures, and to enable their own realization of designed author's jewelry.

Content
|
The course, designed for beginners and students with previous experience in the field, will introduce jewelry as a specific artistic medium with a wealth of means of expression and the possibility of using a whole range of traditional and non-traditional materials. Through a lecture and samples of his own work, the teacher will introduce the participants to his creation of author's jewelry and objects, as well as the work of other Czech and foreign authors. Course participants will learn and practice several basic jewelry craft activities, such as hacksaw cutting, filing, sanding, gluing, rolling, stretching, engraving, threading, soldering, drilling, or milling. The content of the course will be the realization of your own jewelry, brooch, ring, pendant, necklace, earrings, amulet, charm, ornament or other object from the selected material (e.g. Plexiglas, Lukoprene, plastic materials, modeling clay, epoxy, paper, natural materials, plaster, metal , wood, etc.), from design to actual implementation.
