Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to provide the students with competence necessary for modelling according to natural materials (scull, shell, leaf), creating of study of a head as a bust and its casting from plaster of Paris form and making of patina. Further, to teach them through the spatial exercises (solving the relation between shape, material and colour in space) to create the sculpture object, corresponding with the assignment, and to apply this experience in applied or free sculpture creation.

Credit requirements:
- Regular active participation in seminars within the time specified schedule - at least 80 per cent,
- Demonstrating inventiveness, creativity,
- Submitting all seminar sub-tasks in scope and quality as required by the teacher.

to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language in sculpture and spatial creation,
to bring together basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines,
compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and others), |

on the basis of criteria, select appropriate proposals,

about the historical and contemporary styling canons of sculpture and its translations into other media,
